CommuniK-9, Inc. is a private Speech-Language Pathology practice founded by Sue Drouin, M.S. CCC-SLP. Sue has been in this field for over 25 years, working with a range of clientele within a variety of settings. Initially, the primary focus of the practice was designed to serve children who were preschool and early childhood age in development. Over time, the practice developed and expanded to include treating a much broader age range of clients who all have developmental disabilities and disorders. The population of students served includes those who are in need of feeding, social-pragmatic, speech, receptive/expressive language, and assistive /augmentative communication and transitional/vocational services. Individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Developmental Delays, Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Developmental Apraxia of Speech, chromosomal disorders, Specific Language Impairment, Selective Mutism, Executive Function Disorder, phonological disorders, literacy, and language-learning needs are all welcomed.
